~ Three Ways Christians Have Been
Chosen! ~
Chosen For Salvation & Glory
~ “But
we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the
Lord, because God from the beginning
chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in
the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the
traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle” (2 Thessalonians 2:13-15).
Chosen For Adoption & Holiness
~ “Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and
without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by
Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the
praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved”
(Ephesians 1:3-6).
Chosen For Separation & Obedience
~ “Peter,
an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the pilgrims of
the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect according to the foreknowledge of God
the Father, in sanctification [separated from the world system] of the Spirit,
for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: grace to you and peace be multiplied” (1 Peter 1:1-2). “But we

for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,
