Question – Jesus, 60

~ Regarding Judging, 3of3 ~

Introduction  ~  This series is about questions involving Jesus.  Some were asked by individuals involved with Jesus Christ while He walked on earth.  Others are questions that Jesus Christ asked others.  We will look at questions on about 130 topics (some may split into two or more posts).  Even so, it is far from an exhaustive list.

Scripture  ~  “Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right?  When you go with your adversary to the magistrate, make every effort along the way to settle with him, lest he drag you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.  I tell you, you shall not depart from there till you have paid the very last mite” (Luke 12:57-59).

Comment  ~  The Bible is consistent with regard to receiving consequences for our actions.  Those results may not always be swift and in some cases come much later – even after death.  That is why the Good News is so important payment of your sins can be paid for by accepting the substitutionary payment of all your sins by Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.
