~ Interacting Effectively With The
Creator of the Universe ~
Seek Direction from the Lord
~ “It
happened after this that David inquired
of the Lord, saying, ‘Shall I
go up to any of the cities of Judah?’ And the Lord said to
him, ‘Go up.’ David said, ‘Where shall I
go up?’ And He said, ‘To Hebron’”
(2 Samuel 2:1).
Have Trust in the Lord
~ Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him should
not perish but have everlasting life” (John
3:16).
Have Confidence in the Lord
~ “Rest in the Lord,
and wait patiently for Him;
do not fret
because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to
pass” (Psalm 37:7).
Walk with the Lord
~ “The
law of truth was in his mouth,
and injustice
was not found on his lips.
He walked with Me in peace and equity,
and turned
many away from iniquity” (Malachi 2:6).
Trust the Timing of the Lord
~ Wait on the Lord; be of good courage,
and He shall
strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” (Psalm 27:14).
Be
Directed by the Lord ~ “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit
said, ‘Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called
them.’ Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them
away” (Acts 13:2-3).
Receive Blessings from the Lord ~ “And of Gad he said: ‘Blessed is he who enlarges Gad; he dwells as a lion,
and tears the
arm and the crown of his head’” (Deuteronomy 33:20).
Bring Glory to the Lord
~ “Therefore,
whether you eat or drink, or whatever you
do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Respond in Faith to the Lord
~ “And
the Lord said to Moses, ‘Why do
you cry to Me? Tell the children of
Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod,
and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry
ground through the midst of the sea. And I indeed will
harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all
his army, his chariots, and his horsemen. Then the Egyptians
shall know that I am the Lord,
when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his
horsemen’” (Exodus 14:15-18). “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the
sea; and the Lord caused the
sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry
land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the
midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their
right hand and on their left” (Exodus 14:21-22).
