~ Are You Familiar With the “Goes of
Christ”? ~
Go And Sell (to
the rich one) ~ “Then Jesus,
looking at him, loved him, and said to him, ‘One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and
give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the
cross, and follow Me.’
But he
was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions” (Mark
10:21-22).
Go And Tell (to
the saved one) ~ “And when Jesus got
into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with
Him. However, Jesus did not permit him,
but said to him, ‘Go home to your
friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how
He has had compassion on you.’ And he
departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him;
and all marveled” (Mark 5:18-20).
Go And Show (to
the cleansed one) ~ “Now it happened as
Jesus went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and
Galilee. Then as He entered a certain
village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said,
‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’ So
when He saw them, He said to them, ‘Go,
show yourselves to the priests.’ And
so it was that as they went, they were cleansed” (Luke
17:11-14).
Go And Teach (to
the sent one) ~ “And Jesus came and
spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on
earth. Go therefore and make disciples
of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to
observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age.’ Amen” (Matthew
28:18-20).
