~ All Are Only Possible
Because Of An Eternal God ~
Eternal God (the source of all) ~ “The eternal God is your refuge, and
underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before
you, and will say, ‘Destroy!’” (Deuteronomy
33:27).
Eternal Redemption (the cause of all) ~ “But Christ came as
High Priest of the good things to come, with the
greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this
creation. Not with the blood of goats
and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all,
having obtained eternal redemption” (Hebrews 9:11-12).
Eternal Salvation (God’s greatest work) ~ “Though He [Jesus
Christ] was a Son [the Son of God], yet He learned obedience by the things
which He suffered. And having been
perfected, He became the author of eternal
salvation to all who obey Him” (Hebrews 5:8-9).
Eternal Life (God’s richest gift) ~ “But now having
been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to
holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift
of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:22-23).
Eternal Inheritance (the saint’s possession)
~ “And
for this reason He [Jesus Christ] is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means
of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant,
that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance” (Hebrews 9:15).
Eternal Glory (the believer’s hope) ~ “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while,
perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 5:10-11).
Eternal Fire (the unrepentant
sinner’s doom) ~ “But I want to remind you, though you once
knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward
destroyed those who did not believe. And
the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He
has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great
day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to
these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange
flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire” (Jude 5-7).
If the one
is eternal, enduring forever, so are the others. To limit one is weaken all.
Do you have eternal life? Are you sure?
You can be absolutely confident!
