~ God Gives Us Sight Of Our Future ~
Introduction ~ “Abundant Life Now” previously provided
a list of Biblical of examples of fearing / reverencing God (217 posts). In
this current series we look at Biblical accounts that demonstrate that we can
fully trust God. Initially we posted seven general reasons for trusting God. We
are currently looking at passages from all 66 books of Scripture which
demonstrate a reason for trusting our Creator.
Scripture ~ “I, John, both your brother and
companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on
the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of
Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the
Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, saying, ‘I
am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,’ and, ‘What you see, write
in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus,
to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to
Laodicea’” (Revelation 1:9-11).
Comment ~ We have looked at over one hundred
reasons to trust God. These reasons have been found in all sixty-six books of
the Bible. There are many more reasons to trust God beyond the examples we have
provided.
