~ God Listens ~
Introduction ~ This series of posts looks at some
of the many attributes of God.
Generally, we move in alphabetical order.
Scripture ~ “Because
He turned His ear to me, I will
call on Him as long as I live” (Psalm 116:2 niv).
“You will call My
name. You will come to Me and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will search for Me. And when you search for Me
with all your heart, you will find Me! (Jeremiah 29:12-13).
Warning ~ “But your
iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face
from you, so that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2).
The psalmist said, “If I regard
iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear” (Psalm 66:18 NKJV). That word regard
means “to cling to” or “hold on to.”
