~ Declare
> Establish ~
Introduction ~ One of the
consistent themes in Scripture is that what we sow is what we will reap. In
agricultural terms if we sow wheat, we will reap wheat and not something else
such as corn. This reaping what is sown theme is found throughout both the Old
and New Testaments. In this series we look at some New Testament examples.
Keep
in mind that God lives outside of time and sometimes our reaping may not be
immediate, but it is assured. In reference to His future return Jesus said,
“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one
according to his work” (Revelation 22:12).
Scripture ~ “For
then you will have your delight in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God.
You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, and you will pay your vows.
You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so
light will shine on your ways” (Job 22:26-28).
