~ Everything Works Out Good ~
Bible Quotation?
~ “All things work together for
good.”
The Bible Says
~ “We
know that all things work together for good to
those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to
be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many
brethren. Moreover whom He predestined,
these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He
justified, these He also glorified” (Romans
8:28-30).
The Significance ~ Half-truths are often lies. The context of this passage with regard to
true believers in Jesus Christ. The
focus is on the long-term—Christians will one day be glorified and live
eternally with Jesus Christ.
Comment
~ If you do not know Jesus Christ
as your personal Savior then this passage does not apply to you. Jesus said, “Not
everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but
he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your
name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who
practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23). If you do know Jesus Christ then no matter
what your circumstances you can live confidently regarding your ultimate
future.
