is the
root of all evil .”
The Bible Says
~ “The love
of money is a root of all
kinds of evil, for which
some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves
through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10).
The Significance ~ 1) It is not “money” but “love of
money.” 2) It is not “the root” but
rather “a root.” 3) It is not “all evil”
but “all kinds of evil.”

~ Anything which you love more
than God is a problem! The love of an
earthly relationship, of your reputation, a prized possession, and so forth,
can also be roots of all kinds of evil
