The Christian Walk, 30

~ Walk Away When Appropriate, 4 ~

Series Introduction ~ The New Testament has much to say about how a believer should live their life.  Christians should never have to guess about the life that pleases God.  In this series we look at a variety of passages that speak about the Christian walk on earth.

Sub-Series ~ Not only are we to walk properly but there are times when we should walk away from a situation.

Scripture ~ “Jesus answered them, ‘Is it not written in your law, “I said, ‘You are gods’?”  If He called them gods, to whom the Word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, “You are blaspheming,” because I said, “I am the Son of God”? If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.’ Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand” (John 10:34-39).

Quote ~ “To walk with someone means you are aware of their presence. And this is true with God. If you’re to walk with Him, you must be continually aware of His presence.” —Kay Smith (Pleasing God)
