“We have been
Christians for over 40 years, but never have been so enlightened and enriched
as we have been by the in-depth study of the One Precious Pearl.
You have given us new meaning and insight.” ~ Jerry & Maureen Shoop, Senior Pastor

Introduction ~ This
series is about questions involving Jesus.
Some were asked by individuals involved with Jesus Christ while He
walked on earth. Others are questions
that Jesus Christ asked others. We will
look at questions on about 130 topics (some may split into two or more posts). Even so, it is far from an exhaustive
list.
Scripture ~ “Jesus
heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, ‘Do you believe in the Son of God?’
He answered and said, ‘Who
is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?’
And Jesus said to him, ‘You have both seen Him and it is He
who is talking with you.’
Then he said, ‘Lord, I believe!’ And he worshiped Him.
And Jesus said, ‘For judgment I have come into this world,
that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.’
Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these
words, and said to Him, ‘Are we blind also?’
Jesus said to them, ‘If you were blind, you would have no sin;
but now you say, “We see.” Therefore your
sin remains’” (John 9:35-41).
“So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the
tomb four days. Now Bethany was near
Jerusalem, about two miles away. And
many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them
concerning their brother.
Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went
and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house.
Now Martha said to Jesus, ‘Lord, if You had been here, my brother would
not have died. But even now I know that
whatever You ask of God, God will give You.’
Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’
Martha said to Him, ‘I know that he will rise again in the
resurrection at the last day.’
Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he
shall live. And whoever lives and
believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’
She said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the
Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world’ (John 11:17-27).
“‘These things I have spoken to you in figurative language;
but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language,
but I will tell you plainly about the Father.
In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I
shall pray the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have
loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. I came forth from the Father and have come
into the world. Again, I leave the world
and go to the Father.’
His disciples said to Him, ‘See, now You are speaking
plainly, and using no figure of speech! Now
we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question
You. By this we believe that You came
forth from God.’
Jesus answered them, ‘Do
you now believe? Indeed the hour is
coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will
leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone,
because the Father is with Me. These
things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be
of good cheer, I have overcome the world’” (John 16:25-33).
