~ Jesus Christ Rose From The Dead and
Is Alive For You ~
Alive To Quicken (Living
Stone) ~ “Coming to Him as
to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you
also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy
priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus
Christ” (1 Peter 2:4-5).
Alive To Satisfy (Living
Bread) ~ Jesus said, “I am the bread of
life. Your fathers ate the manna in the
wilderness, and are dead. This is the
bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from
heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he
will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall
give for the life of the world” (John 6:48-51).
Alive To Refresh (Living
Water) ~ “Jesus answered and
said to her, ‘If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, “Give
Me a drink,” you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living
water’” (John 4:10).
Alive To Keep (Living
High Priest) ~ “Also there were
many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an
unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is
also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He
always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews
7:23-25).
Alive To Save (saved
in this life) ~ “For if when we were
enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more,
having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (Romans 5:10).
Alive To Reproduce (He
lives in me) ~ “For I through the
law died to the law that I might live to God.
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but
Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith
in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians
2:19-20).
Alive To Glorify (our
life) ~ “When Christ who is
our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:4).
Alive For Evermore (to
reign eternally) ~ “And when I saw
Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He
laid His right hand on me, saying to me, ‘Do not
be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive
forevermore. Amen’” (Revelation 1:17-18a).
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?”
(Matthew 16:15). This is the most
important question you will ever answer. If you do not answer it, or answer it
incorrectly, you have made the biggest mistake anyone can make!
