5 Will Nots

~ 5 Guarantees For All Christians ~

There are a number of definites that are true for all Christians.  Consider the following:

Will Not Perish  ~  Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16).  Jesus also said, “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28). 

Will Not Come Into Judgment  ~  Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).  “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1a).  

Will Not Want  ~  “The Lord is my shepherd; I will not want” (Psalm 23:1).  “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).  

Will Not Fear  ~  “You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday” (Psalm 91:5-6).  “He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord” (Psalm 112:7).

Will Not Walk In Darkness  ~  “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world.  He who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but have the light of life’” (John 8:12).

~ Things To Buy for Your Spiritual Welfare~

Wine And Milk (salvation)  ~  “Ho!  Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat.  Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price” (Isaiah 55:1).  

The Truth (sanctification)  ~  “Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding” (Proverbs 23:23).   

Gold Purified In A Fire (preservation)  ~  Jesus said, “Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’ — and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked — I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see” (Revelation 3:17-18).

4 Key Possessions

~ In Christ Jesus Christians Have… ~

Salvation  ~  “Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.  This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him.  If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.  If we deny Him, He also will deny us.  If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2:10-13).

Sanctification  ~  “To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 1:2-3).   

Preservation  ~  “Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you” (Jude 1-2).  

Glorification  ~  “Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Thessalonians 1:11-12).
