Question – Jesus, 162

 ~ Regarding Where ~

Introduction  ~  This series is about questions involving Jesus.  Some were asked by individuals involved with Jesus Christ while He walked on earth.  Others are questions that Jesus Christ asked others.  We will look at questions on over 160 topics (some may split into two or more posts).  Even so, it is far from an exhaustive list.

Scripture  ~  “Simon Peter said to Him, ‘Lord, where are You going?

“Jesus answered him, ‘Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward.’

“Peter said to Him, ‘Lord, why can I not follow You now?  I will lay down my life for Your sake.’  Jesus answered him, ‘Will you lay down your life for My sake?  Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times’ (John 13:36-38).

God Is My… , 49of49

~ God Is My Everything ~

Introduction  ~  Previously (July 16, 2017 – January 6, 2019) ALN posted a series of 82 posts of “Jesus is…,” and then we looked exclusively at who “God is…” from the Book of Psalms (February 9, 2020 – December 5, 2021).  We are now considering “God is…” statements from non-Psalms passages.

Summary  ~  Here are just a few of the many reasons that I can trust God…

He never changes – Hebrews 13:8

He is all powerful – Jeremiah 32:17

He is all knowing – Psalms 147:5

He is always with me – Psalms 139:7-10

He is wise – Romans 11:33

He is faithful – Psalms 119:90

He is good – Psalms 34:8

He is love – 1 John 4:7-8

He is merciful – Romans 9:15-16

Quote  ~  From an unknown source…

When I am nothing, God is my Everything.

When I am sad and lonely, God is my Joy.

When I am weak and helpless, God is my strength.

Most important of all He is my Savior and Lord.  Is He yours?
