~ The Lord of Glory ~
“I
love to tell the story—it will be my theme in glory!”
The World’s Most Important Story told from Scripture in

Lord of Glory.
“And the Word [Jesus Christ] became flesh and dwelt among us, and
we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of
grace and truth.” (John 1:14).
“Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said:
‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your
Son, that Your Son also may glorify You’” (John 17:1).
Jesus said, “I have glorified You [God—The Father] on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given
Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me
together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world
was” (John 17:4-5).
“And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS
AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16).
“Then the sign of the Son
of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn,
and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and
great glory” (Matthew 24:30).
“When the Son of Man comes
in His glory, and all the holy angels
with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory” (Matthew 25:31).
“But when He again brings
the firstborn into the world, He says: ‘Let all the angels of God worship Him’” (Hebrews
1:6).
“Therefore God also has
highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at
the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on
earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11).
“Which none of the rulers of
this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of
glory” (1 Corinthians 2:8).
