~ God Is Good ~
This Series ~ This series of posts looks at some of the many attributes of God. Generally, we move in alphabetical order.
Scripture ~ “Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways” (Psalm 25:8 niv).
“For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You” (Psalm 86:5).
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” (Psalm 34:8).
Application ~ “Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O Lord” (Psalm 25:7 niv). God is good enough to forgive your sins if you call upon Him believing.
Jesus said, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11).
