~ God Is Love ~

Introduction ~ In
this sin filled world the source of love is God Himself.
Scripture ~ “Beloved,
let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is
born of God and knows God. He who does
not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:7-9).
“And
we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love,
and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16).
Comment ~ If we
are believers we are commanded to become increasingly Christ-like. Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you,
that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one
another. By this all will know that you
are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35).
