~ Fools Don’t Control Their Tongue ~

 

Series Note  ~  In this series we look at some of the passages in the Book of Proverbs – wise sayings that are generally true – that describe a fool from God’s perspective.  Some may surprise you. 

 

Scripture  ~  “A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.  The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles, and they go down into the inmost body” (Proverbs 18:7-8). 

 

Important Truth  ~  “The fool has said in his heart, ‘there is no God’” (Psalm 53:1a).
