Scripture  ~  “For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright” (Psalm 11:7).

 

“Righteous are You, O Lord, and upright are Your judgments. Your testimonies, which You have commanded, are righteous and very faithful” (Psalm 119:137-138).

 

“The Lord is righteous; He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked” (Psalm 129:4).

Every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, but the unjust knows no shame” (Zephaniah 3:4-5).

 

Jesus said, “O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them” (John 17:25-26).

 

“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world” (1 John 2:1-2).

 

“If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him” (1 John 2:29).

 

“And I heard the angel of the waters saying: ‘You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due’” (Revelation 16:5-6).
