The Best Of Three ~
Scripture ~ “Now abide faith, hope, and
love, these three; but the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians
13:13).
Comment ~ It is interesting that the Bible declares
that love is greater than either the essentials of faith and hope!
What do you suppose makes love so much
more important?
First,
consider that it is what motivated the Father to send His only Son to
die for you and me.
Second, without that sacrificial love, there could not be
redemption and salvation for mankind. Not only would we be without love,
but also without the redemption that was precipitated by love, there would also
be no faith, and no hope.
Reality ~ Nothing else matters, without love. Love is the foundation
for every good thing in our lives!
