God Attribute, 8

 ~ God Cannot Error ~

This Series  ~  This series of posts looks at some of the many attributes of God.  Generally, we move in alphabetical order.

Introduction  ~  As humans we all mistakes.  Some of us more often than others.  But God never makes a mistake of any kind!

Scripture  ~  “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Comment  ~  God is sovereign and we are not.  It is perfectly understandable that we do not understand some of the events in our lives – but we can trust the One who knows every aspect of the events in our lives and why they happen to us.  Can we not trust the details of our lives of He who created not only us but the entire universe?

Why Trust God? 5

~ God Has Plans for You ~

“For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.  I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive” (Jeremiah 29:10-14).

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Closing Thought  ~  Can you not trust the details of your life to the Creator and Sustainer of all (including your life)?

Question – Jesus, 127

 ~ Regarding Sinners ~

Introduction  ~  This series is about questions involving Jesus.  Some were asked by individuals involved with Jesus Christ while He walked on earth.  Others are questions that Jesus Christ asked others.  We will look at questions on over 160 topics (some may split into two or more posts).  Even so, it is far from an exhaustive list.

Scripture  ~  “There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.  And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?  I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.  Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?  I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish’” (Luke 13:1-5).
