~ Walk In Unity ~
Series
Introduction ~ The New Testament has much to say about how a
believer should live their life.
Christians should never have to guess about the life that pleases
God. In this series we look at a variety
of passages that speak about the Christian walk on earth.
Scripture ~ “Did I [Paul] take advantage of you by any of those whom I
sent to you? I urged Titus, and sent our
brother with him. Did Titus take
advantage of you? Did we not walk in
the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?” (2 Corinthians
12:17-18).
“And as many as walk according to this rule [walking in unity],
peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God” (Galatians 6:16).
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy
of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness,
with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep
the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:1-4).
Quote ~ “To walk with someone means you are aware of their presence. And this is true with God. If you’re to walk with Him, you must be
continually aware of His presence.” —Kay Smith {Pleasing God)
