~ 2 Important Views Of Our Lord ~
Our Lord Was Humble (our
example) ~ “For consider Him
who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary
and discouraged in your souls” (Hebrews 12:3).
Our Lord Was Exalted (our
representative) ~ “Therefore, holy
brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High
Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus” (Hebrews 3:1).
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15). This is the most important
question you will ever answer. If you do not answer it, or answer it
incorrectly, you have made the biggest mistake anyone can make!
Our Lord Is Our Pattern
~ “Humble
yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up” (James
4:10). “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may
exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1
Peter 5:6-7).
