~ Don’t Leave This Life In Any Of These 8 Conditions! ~
Consider
this list of essentials which unbelievers are missing:
Missing An Adequate Excuse
~ “The
wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what
may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His
invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are
made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:18-20).
Missing A Way To Escape God’s Judgment
~ “We
must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift
away. For if the word spoken through
angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a
just reward, how shall we escape if we
neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the
Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness
both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy
Spirit, according to His own will?” (Hebrews
2:1-4).
Missing A Path To God
& Eternal Life ~ “He Himself [Jesus Christ] is our peace, who
has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having
abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained
in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile
them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death
the enmity. And He came and preached
peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one
Spirit to the Father” (Ephesians 2:14-18).
Missing A Relationship With Jesus Christ
~ “You
[believers] are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God
dwells in you. Now if anyone does not
have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
And if Christ is in you, the
body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of
righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the
dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life
to your mortal bodies through His Spirit
who dwells in you” (Romans 8:9-11).
Missing Spiritual Life
~ “This
is the testimony: that God has given us
eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He who has the Son has life;
he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who
believe in the name of the Son of God, that you
may know that you have eternal life,
and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God” (1
John 5:11-13).
Missing Meaningful Change
~ “And
he [one of the seven angels] said to me, ‘Do not seal the words of the prophecy
of this book, for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still;
he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be
righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still’” (Revelation 22:10-11).
Missing True Inner Peace
~ “As
it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who
understands; there is none who seeks after God.
They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable;
there is none who does good, no, not one.
Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced
deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips; whose
mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.
Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their
ways; and the way of peace they have not
known. There is no fear of God
before their eyes’” (Romans 3:10-18).
Missing A Positive Eternal Future
~ “But
these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of
the things they do not understand, and will
utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of
unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the
daytime. They are spots and blemishes,
carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full
of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous
practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone
astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of
unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking
with a man's voice restrained the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of
darkness forever” (2 Peter 2:12-17).
