7 Solutions That Satisfy The 8 Missing Essentials! ~
Consider
this list of essential things which satisfy what unbelievers are missing:
Without The Shedding Of Blood Is No Remission
~ “According
to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission [of sin]” (Hebrews
9:22).
Without Faith In Jesus Christ It Is
Impossible To Please God ~ “Without faith it is
impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
Without Jesus Christ We Can Do Nothing
Of Value In God’s Evaluation ~ Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much
fruit; for without Me you can do nothing”
(John 15:5).
Without Love I Am Nothing ~ “Though I speak with the tongues of men and
of angels, but have not love, I have
become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and
all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains,
but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though I give my body to be burned, but
have not love, it profits me nothing”
(1 Corinthians 13:1-3).
Without Chastisement We Are Not God’s
Children ~ “If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not
chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who
corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall
we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and
live? For they indeed for a few days
chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be
partakers of His holiness. Now no
chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless,
afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been
trained by it” (Hebrews 12:7-11).
Without Holiness No Man Can See The
Lord ~ “Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the
feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may
not be dislocated, but rather be healed. Pursue peace with all
people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews
12:12-14). Fortunately the believer is seen by God in
Christ’s righteousness—not their own lack of righteousness.
Without Works Faith Is Of No Value
~ “But
someone will say, ‘You have faith, and I have works.’ Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well.
Even the demons believe—and tremble!
But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father
justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together
with his works, and by works faith was
made perfect? And the Scripture was
fulfilled which says, ‘Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness.’ And he was called the
friend of God. You see then that a man
is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when
she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as
the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James
2:18-26). The important distinction is
that human works and effort do not and cannot provide salvation, but works [a
change in lifestyle] are a result of true salvation.
