Living With Christ

~ Life With Christ On Earth & In Heaven ~

The Christian Is In Christ (our standing)  ~  “It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord: I know a man in Christ…” (2 Corinthians 12:1-2a). 

Christ Is In The Christian (our state or status)  ~  “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?” (2 Corinthians 13:5a).  “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

Mansions For Christians (prepared in heaven)  ~  Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:1-2).

Mansions for God (with Christians on earth)  ~  “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him’” (John 14:23). 

Interesting Side Note  ~  The word mansion (or abode or dwelling place) in the original, is the same in both the above verses in the Gospel of John.
