~ Jesus Is Your Future Judge! ~
Passages ~ “Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I
proclaim to you: God, who made the world
and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell
in temples made with hands. Nor is He
worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all
life, breath, and all things. And He has
made from one blood every nation of
men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their
pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should
seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though
He is not far from each one of us; for in
Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets
have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that
the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and
man’s devising. Truly, these times of
ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
because He has appointed a day on which
He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by
raising Him from the dead: (Acts 17:23-31).
“We are bound to thank God
always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows
exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, so
that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and
faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is
manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted
worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; since it is a
righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and
to give you who are troubled rest with us when
the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire
taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the
gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These
shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the
Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be
glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was
believed” (2 Thessalonians 1:3-10).
the bottom line ~ It
is not a question of whether you will bow down and submit to the authority of
Jesus Christ! The question is: When will
you bow? On earth you have the option of
voluntarily finding peace, true happiness, and fulfillment. If you fail to take that step you will
ultimately submit to everlasting punishment.
The choice is yours.
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?”
(Matthew 16:15). This is the most
important question you will ever answer. If you do not answer it, or answer it
incorrectly, you have made the biggest mistake anyone can make!
