~ God The Father Had Confidence In His
Son Jesus Christ ~
Confidence is closely related to the Biblical
concepts of trust, faith, and belief. In this series we
are looking at a few of the many Scriptures which show confidence displayed by
Biblical characters.
Scripture
~ “Though He was a Son, yet
He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the
author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest
‘according to the order of Melchizedek,’ of whom we have much to say, and hard
to explain, since you have become dull of hearing” (Hebrews
5:8-11).
Closing
Thought ~ While this concludes our short series on
confidence there are many additional instances of demonstrated confidence in the
Scriptures.
Closing
Questions ~ Do you have confidence in God? If not, why not? Does God have confidence in you? If not, what are you going to do about it?
