~ Out Of A Pit Into The King’s Service! ~
The Scripture ~ “I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth — praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord” (Psalm 40:1-3).
State By Nature ~ “out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay” (v. 2).
Salvation By Grace ~ “He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay” (v. 2). He brought me out of both!
Standing In Christ ~ “He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock” (v. 2).
Stability For Christ ~ “Set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps” (v. 2).
Song Of Thanksgiving ~ “He has put a new song in my mouth—praise to our God” (v. 3).
Saintly Testimony ~ “He has put a new song in my mouth—praise to our God; many will see it” (v. 3).
Service And Soul-Winning ~ “Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord” (v. 3).
