Myth, 132

 ~ Christians Must Accept Their Lack of Understanding ~

 

Myth  ~  Sometimes a Christian must just accept that they lack the understanding and wisdom required for what God is calling them to do. 

 

Reality  ~  God is the source of all wisdom and the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).  As a Christian there is no justified reason to claim a lack of wisdom for the task God has given you.

 

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly” (Proverbs 2:6-7).

 

Jesus Christ said, “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say.  For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say” (Luke 12:11-12).

 

“Christ Jesus is made unto me wisdom from God” (I Corinthians 1:30).

 

Scripture  ~  “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God Who gives to all men liberally and without reproach, and it will be given him” (James 1:5).
