question:  Was the Biblical Noah a man or a woman?

 

answer:  Somewhat of a trick question.  If you are thinking of the Noah who built the ark then he was a man.  However, there are two Biblical Noahs (a man and a woman).

 

“But Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but only daughters.  And these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah” (Joshua 17:3-4).
