  ~ God Grieves ~

 

This Series  ~  This series of posts looks at some of the many attributes of God.  Generally, we move in alphabetical order.

 

Scripture  ~  “He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.  And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.  Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted” (Isaiah 53:3-4).

 

“Jesus wept” (John 11:35).

 

“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30-31).

 

Comment  ~  If you are reading this post then you are human.  If you are human then you have grieved your Creator.  Yet He is always ready to accept you into His own family if you turn to Him in forgiveness and willingness to believe.
