~ Child of Wrath of Child of Zion ~
Series Comment ~ A person
can be a child of their mother, but also a child of their father. They may also have adopted parents. They may also be a child of incest or a child
of other “parents” – in this series we look at Biblical descriptions of various
“parents.”
Scripture
1 ~
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once
walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the
power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among
whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling
the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of
wrath, just as the others” (Ephesians 2:1-3).

“Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God;
for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to
come down for you — the former rain, and the latter rain in the first
month. The threshing floors shall be
full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil” (Joel
2:23-24).
