~ A Person Of God Is Pure ~
Series Note
~ There are many qualities which
God desires in His children. In this
series we will briefly cover a few of the major ones.
Scripture ~ “Who
may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or
who may stand in His holy place? He who
has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an
idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall
receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his
salvation. This is Jacob, the generation
of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah” (Psalm 24:3-6).
“Finally,
brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things
are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever
things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything
praiseworthy — meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and
heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians
4:8-9).
“To the
pure all things are pure,
but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their
mind and conscience are defiled” (Titus 1:15-16).
