~ How Much Of A Fool Are You? ~
Fact ~ The day you were born you were terminal!
Comment ~ There are many passages in the Scriptures
that describe who is a fool in God’s eyes. They also describe the ultimate
evaluation of one’s life.
Scripture ~ And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have
ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be
merry.”’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your
soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they
be?’ So is the one who lays up treasure for himself
and is not rich toward God” (Luke 12:19-21 ESV).
Reality ~ There are no U-Hauls in heaven!
Question ~ Are you living for the short years you have
on earth (perhaps even 100 years), or are you living for a timeless future with
no end?
