~ God Speaks Through Circumstances ~

 

This Series ~ This series of posts looks at some of the many ways that God speaks.

 

Introductory Scriptures ~ “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear” {Luke 8:8).

 

Jesus Christ ~ And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son. Hear Him’!” (Mark 9:7). “This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!” (Matthew 17:5 NIV).

 

Christians ~ “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).

 

Scripture ~ The entire Book of Jonah! Just one example follows.

 

“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord; and my prayer went up to You, into Your holy temple.

 

⁸ “Those who regard worthless idols forsake their own Mercy.
