Easter & The Trinity

~ The Resurrection of Jesus Christ ~

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Was Attributed To God The Father  ~  “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

“In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead” (Colossians 2:11-13).

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Was Attributed To Jesus Christ The Son  ~  Jesus Christ said, “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.  No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself.  I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.  This command I have received from My Father” (John 10:17-18).

“Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, ‘Why do you seek the living among the dead?  He is not here, but is risen!  Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, “The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again”’” (Luke 24:5-7).

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Was Attributed To The Spirit of God  ~  “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit” (1 Peter 3:18).

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11).

Salvation, 32

~ Personal Significance of the Romans Road To YOU—Romans Road, 7of7 ~

Salvation is not a Reward for the Righteous.
It is an available Gift for those who understand their Guilt!

Have you personally responded to the claims of Jesus Christ.

Reference  ~  “Romans Road, 1of7” posted March 9, 2019.

Steps  ~  If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior you can do so right now where you are:
First, agree with God that you are a sinner.
Second, understand the truth of God’s Word that as a sinner you deserve death.
Third, admit you cannot save yourself.
Fourth, believe in the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary as the only payment God will accept for your sins.
Fifth, repent of your past sinful life and ask God to give you a new life in Jesus Christ.
Sixth, open-handedly receive His free gift of salvation through your faith in His Son.
Finally, while not necessary for salvation, seek out a good Bible believing local church where you can grow.

The Sinner’s Prayer  ~  The exact wording is not important—it’s your heart that God cares about. Here is a sample prayer for receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Savior:

Confessing to God that I am a sinner, and believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the Cross, and was raised from the dead for my justification before God, I do now receive and confess Him as my personal Savior.

Sunday’s Coming!

~ It Maybe Friday—But Sunday Will Soon Be Here! ~

“Good Friday  ~  “Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land” (Matthew 27:45).

Easter Sunday  ~  But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.  He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.  Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him.  Behold, I have told you’” (Matthew 28:5-7).

Significance  ~  Fortunately, any open-minded individual who investigates the historical fact of The Messiah’s resurrection from the dead will quickly discover that it is the most thoroughly documented historical event of ancient times!  Scripture sums the significance of the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ in this way:
“Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?  But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.  And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.  Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise.  For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen.  And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!  Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.  If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable” (1 Corinthians 15:12-19).
