~ Sometimes the Simple Questions are
the Hardest to Answer ~
Sometimes our
“sophistication” stands in the way of
our own progress. Sometimes we have a
tendency to avoid the simple, but hard, questions.
The following is an
excerpt from a book.
From the beginning man has
sought to comprehend his physical environment. Physical light is critical to life on earth
and to all scientific understanding. Today
we know so much more than in the past. Scientific
knowledge is growing at exponential rates. Even with all the modern advances there are
many unanswered questions. For example,
consider all the unanswered questions about the human body, disease, and how to
cure diseases, extend life, and so forth.
From the beginning man has
also asked basic questions. Why am I
here? Is there more to life than meets
the eye? What happens when I die? Is there more after death? The new life found in the Son of God is the
critical ingredient in understanding our existence and the existence of this
vast universe.
