Christ in Zephaniah

~ Jesus Christ Is Our Fully Capable Savior ~

The Bible is about Jesus Christ  ~  “Jesus said to them, ‘How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!  Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter His glory?’  And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself” (Luke 24:25-27).

In the Book of Zephaniah Jesus Christ is the Lord who is Mighty to Save—He is His People’s Savior!  He is also pleading for revival and He is the Executor of Judgment, followed by eternity with the Savior.  He is the Lord in our midst and the Righteous Branch.

Jesus Christ in Zephaniah is the Merciful Christ (Messiah).  “Sing, O daughter of Zion!  Shout, O Israel!  Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!  The Lord has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy.  The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall see disaster no more” (Zephaniah 3:14-15).

Comment  ~  We have only touched the surface of Christ in the Book of Zephaniah.

The Apostle Paul told us the Scriptures present many shadows of things to come but the reality is found in Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:17).
