3 Abides

~ Abiding In Christ ~

When We Abide In Christ We Bear Much Fruit  ~  Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.  I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:4-6).

When We Abide In Christ We Do Not Continue To Sin  ~  “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.  And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.  Whoever abides in Him does not sin” (1 John 3:4-6a). 

When We Abide In Christ We Are Awaiting His Coming  ~  “And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.  If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him” (1 John 2:28-29).
