~ Life On Earth Is A Momentary Blip ~

Because our activities are controlled by “time” we tend to think in the short-term. 

introduction:  Time—all time—is just an indistinguishable dot on the timeline of eternity (the phrase "timeline of eternity" is an oxymoron).  God is beyond the constraints of time in both eternity-past and eternity-future.  In this short series we will look at four critical aspects of this reality. 

This Life Is Very Short  ~  “You do not know what will happen tomorrow.  For what is your life?  It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away” (James 4:14). 

The Life To Come Never Ends  ~  Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).    

concluding thought:  Are you sacrificing the eternal on the altar of the immediate?
