Jesus Christ Came To Save ~
Passages ~ “For
God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John
3:17).
“For the Son of Man
has come to seek and to save that
which was lost” (Luke 19:10).
Significance ~ This
was the whole purpose of Jesus Christ coming to earth as a human. He came to provide a way of escape from the
punishment by God the Father for our sins. Jesus paid the death penalty of your sins when
He died in your behalf.
Comment ~ Salvation is offered to you as a free gift. But like any gift it must be accepted. Have you confessed your sins, accepted His payment for your sins, and then turned from your sins. Are you growing in the grace and knowledge of your Lord Jesus Christ?
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both
now and forever. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18).
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?”
(Matthew 16:15). This is the most important
question you will ever answer. If you do
not answer it, or answer it incorrectly, you have made the biggest mistake
anyone can make!
