~ God Is My Source of Life, 2 ~
Introduction ~ Previously (July 16, 2017 – January 6, 2019) ALN posted a series of 82 posts of “Jesus is…,” and then we looked exclusively at who “God is…” from the Book of Psalms (February 9, 2020 – December 5, 2021). We are now considering “God is…” statements from non-Psalms passages.
Passage ~ “Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren” (1 John 3:13-14a).
Another Passage ~ “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see” (Acts 3:13-16 niv).
