~ God Provides Our Basic Needs ~
Introduction
~ “Abundant Life Now” previously provided
a list of Biblical of examples of fearing / reverencing God (217 posts). In this current series we look at Biblical
accounts that demonstrate that we can fully trust God. Initially we posted seven general reasons for
trusting God. We are currently looking
at passages from all 66 books of Scripture which demonstrate a reason for
trusting our Creator.
Scripture
~ “But Ruth said: ‘Entreat me not
to leave you, or to turn back from following after you; for wherever you go,
I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my
people, and your God, my God. Where you
die, I will die, and there will I be buried.
The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and
me’.”
“And her
mother-in-law said to her, ‘Where have you gleaned today? And where did you work? Blessed be the one who took notice of
you.’ So she told her mother-in-law with
whom she had worked, and said, ‘The man’s name with whom I worked today is
Boaz.’ Then Naomi said to her
daughter-in-law, ‘Blessed be he of the Lord, who has not forsaken His
kindness to the living and the dead!’
And Naomi said to her, ‘This man is a relation of ours, one of our close
relatives.’ (Ruth 2:16-20).
