~ Walk In Truth ~
Series
Introduction ~ The New Testament has much to say about how a
believer should live their life.
Christians should never have to guess about the life that pleases
God. In this series we look at a variety
of passages that speak about the Christian walk on earth.
Scripture ~ “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be
in health, just as your soul prospers.
For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth
that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my
children walk in truth” (3 John 2-4).
Additional
Scripture ~ “Thomas
said to Him, ‘Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the
way?’ Jesus said to him, “I am
the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me’”
(John 14:5-6).
Comment ~ This
is the third of four sequential posts that refer to Christ’s life on earth as
our example of how to live our lives.
Quote ~ “To walk with someone means you are aware of their
presence. And this is true with
God. If you’re to walk with Him, you
must be continually aware of His presence.” —Kay Smith {Pleasing God)
