~ Walk In Love ~
Series
Introduction ~ The New Testament has much to say about how a
believer should live their life.
Christians should never have to guess about the life that pleases
God. In this series we look at a variety
of passages that speak about the Christian walk on earth.
Scripture ~ “Therefore be
imitators of God as dear children. And walk
in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering
and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma” (Ephesians 5:1-2).
Additional Scripture ~ “God is love, and he who abides in love
abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16b).
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as
I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My
disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35).
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have
loved you. Greater love has no one
than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:12-13).
Comment ~ This
is the last of four sequential posts that refer to Christ’s life on earth as
our example of how to live our lives.
Quote ~ “To walk with someone means you are aware of their
presence. And this is true with
God. If you’re to walk with Him, you
must be continually aware of His presence.” —Kay Smith {Pleasing God)
