~ This series of posts looks at some of the many attributes of God. Generally, we move in alphabetical order.
Introduction ~ God is the
ultimate planner and executer of His plan. He always has a bigger plan for our
lives than we do – His ways are higher than our ways.
“‘For
My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ says the Lord.
‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your
ways,
and
My thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9).
At
the start of the Holy Bible, we find in Genesis 1:1-31 God’s intentions for
creation.
Scripture ~ “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the
Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”
(Jeremiah 29:11).
“Trust in the LORD with all your
heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge
Him, And He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
One
of the clearest examples of God exercising His purpose is in the historical
account of Old Testament Joseph – he could say: “But as for
you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to
bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive” (Genesis
50:20).
This book
starts with the complex subject of the will of God presented in an innovative,

main components of God's will. This is critical to understanding how to please
God.
The
