~ God Speaks Through Emotions ~
Series Introduction ~ The one true God is a relational God who desires interaction with His created humans. But it is up to each person to choose to listen carefully to the God of this universe. In this series we look at various ways God communicates to us if we are willing to listen. Keep in mind throughout this series that the most basic and important way to hear from God is read The Holy Bible with an open mind.
Scripture ~ In Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. 9 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, 10 said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked. 11 Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” (Acts 14:8-11)
Comment ~ Emotions are not a primary way God speaks to an individual, but emotions are also involved in a secondary way.
