~ What Is The Single Most Important
Driving Force In Your Life? ~
The Creator of Our Lives
~ “The
God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his
servant Jesus. You handed him over to be
killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him
go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous
One and asked that a murderer be released to you. You killed the author of life” (Acts 3:13-15).
The Sustainer of Our Lives ~ “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with
Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him
in glory” (Colossians 3:1-4).
Summary ~ “For by Him all
things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All
things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the
beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the
preeminence” (Colossians 1:16-18).
Application
~ Can you not trust the One who
created you to guide you today? Can you
not trust the One who gives you your next breath, and every breath, to direct
your walk? Do you not believe (really
trust) Him with your future? If not, why
not?
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15). This is the most important
question you will ever answer. If you do not answer it, or answer it
incorrectly, you have made the biggest mistake anyone can make!
